Job summary

Keystone Veterinary Emergency & Referral is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join Thrive Pet Healthcare in Havertown, PA. The role includes hands-on patient care, outpatient treatments, lab work, and supporting admissions and discharges.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of clinical vet tech experience; active CVT/RVT/LVT credentials are preferred, with strong anesthesia and communication skills. Thrive Pet Healthcare offers growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician.
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred.
  • Strong anesthesia skills (able to monitor Blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and ETCO2).
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Positive work attitude and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end care for patients, including outpatient treatments and laboratory tests.
  • Assist with admitting and discharging patients and coordinating care with doctors.

Keystone Veterinary Emergency & Referral is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Havertown, PA.

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred
  • Superior/advanced technical skills
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
