Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician in the state.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, obtain vitals and history, and document in EMR.
• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Handle medications, perform patient restraint, and maintain records.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, update inventory and records, and manage accounts receivable.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor anesthesia under vet direction.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and maintain patient care before discharge.
