Qualifications

• Ability to work on weekends as required.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.
• Basic math and ability to calculate medication dosages.
• Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in providing veterinary care and surgery.
• Take histories, vital signs, and educate clients during outpatient exams.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor their vital signs.
• Obtain samples and perform in-hospital laboratory testing.
• Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment cleanliness.
