Job summary

ASPCA is seeking a Veterinary Technician for the Community Veterinary Clinic in Brooklyn. You'll work with CM veterinarians and assistants in HQHVSN and preventive care, focusing on medical duties both in surgery and outpatient visits.

Qualifications include NYS Veterinary Technician license, strong animal handling, and excellent client communication. The role requires standing for long periods and ability to lift 40+ pounds; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited veterinary technology program or equivalent.
• Must maintain NYS Veterinary Technician license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Strong animal handling skills and client communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Care for 35-40 cats and dogs per day in spay/neuter surgery.
• Administer injections and monitor anesthetics and fluids.
• Provide compassionate animal care and support to clients and clinics.
• Enter medical information into digital databases and maintain records.
