Job summary

WellHaven Pet Health in Oregon is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our hospital team. You will support veterinarians, educate clients, and deliver compassionate patient care in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

We require CVT/RVT/LVT certification or eligibility, 1+ year veterinary hospital experience, and strong communication skills. This onsite role offers meaningful growth opportunities and a competitive pay range with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have CVT, RVT, or LVT certification, or be eligible.
• 1+ years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Familiarity with EMR and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination, treatment, and monitoring of animals under a veterinarian.
• Prepare and analyze laboratory samples and record findings.
• Support during surgical procedures including preparation and post-operative care.
• Educate clients about wellness plans and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical charts and ensure hospital equipment is functioning.
