WellHaven is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our Hillsboro hospital. You will support veterinarians, educate clients, and deliver compassionate patient care in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid certification, registration, or licensing (CVT/RVT/LVT).
• 1+ years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination, treatment, and monitoring of animals under a veterinarian.
• Prepare and analyze laboratory samples, operate lab equipment, record results.
• Assist during surgeries, monitor anesthesia, provide post-operative care.
• Educate clients on wellness plans, care, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical charting and hospital records.
• Ensure hospital equipment and supplies are well maintained.
• Triage phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient intake/discharge.
