WellHaven Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our onsite hospital team. You will support veterinarians, educate clients, and provide compassionate patient care across a fast-paced environment.

The role requires CVT/RVT/LVT certification and at least 1 year of veterinary hospital experience. Expect 10+ hour shifts, including Saturdays and evenings, with opportunities for growth within WellHaven.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is a plus.
• Valid CVT, RVT, or LVT certification is required or must be maintained.
• 1+ years of veterinary hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination, treatment, and monitoring of animals under a veterinarian's supervision.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed; monitor vital signs.
• Prepare surgical suites and assist during procedures; monitor anesthesia and post-operative care.
• Educate clients about wellness plans, animal care, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical charts and ensure hospital quality standards.
