Meadow View Veterinary Clinic is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will assist veterinarians during exams, provide daily patient care, and educate clients in a hands-on, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Provide daily care to hospitalized and recovering patients.
  • Safely handle and restrain various animals.
  • Educate clients with clear, compassionate guidance on pet care.
  • Prepare laboratory specimens for testing and obtain radiographs.
  • Prepare patients/equipment for surgery and assist during procedures.
  • Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the team.
  • Maintain clean, organized treatment and patient areas; assist with laundry and other tasks.
  • Maintain accurate patient records per hospital protocols.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Provide compassionate daily care to hospitalized and recovering patients
  • Safely handle and restrain dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, pocket pets, reptiles, and other species
  • Communicate with clients and provide clear, compassionate education about their pets’ care
  • Prepare laboratory specimens for diagnostic testing
  • Assist with obtaining diagnostic radiographs
  • Prepare patients and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist veterinarians during surgeries and dental procedures
  • Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition to the veterinary team
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment and patient‑care areas
  • Assist with cleaning, laundry, and other tasks that keep the hospital running smoothly
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow established hospital protocols
