Animal Medical Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant for a full-time role. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, with a schedule of Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays.

You will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting preventive care, diagnostics, and surgical procedures while mentoring teammates. The practice offers extensive benefits, ongoing education, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required.
• LVT or CVT credentials strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint.
• Support preventative care appointments and vaccine protocols.
• Assist with emergency and surgical patient care, including IV catheter placement.
• Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, phlebotomy, and laboratory sample collection.
• Perform in-house laboratory testing and patient monitoring.
• Support veterinarians during exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
• Serve as a mentor and positive resource for fellow team members.
