Animal Care and Wellness Center is an ever-growing, two-doctor small‑animal practice seeking an outstanding, responsible individual to join our team – our ohana – as a full‑time Licensed Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant. This is a hands‑on technical role focused on patient care, anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and medical support.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

• Strong technical ability: Proficiency in venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, laboratory procedures, and dentistry (appropriate to licensure and experience).
• Clinical confidence: Ability to assist in surgery, perform treatments, and manage hospitalized cases efficiently.

How You’ll Contribute

• Assisting veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment procedures.
• Performing technical skills such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, sample collection, radiographs, anesthesia induction and monitoring, and dental cleanings (based on licensure and experience).
• Administering medications and treatments as directed.
• Monitoring hospitalized and post‑operative patients.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records.
• Educating clients on treatment plans, medications, and post‑operative care instructions.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment and surgical area.
• Assisting with inventory and supply management as needed.
