Position: Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30-5:30 with 45‑minute break; Thursday PM 1:00‑7:30 or Saturday AM 7:30‑1:30 alternately

Responsibilities
- Triage patients and obtain histories, vitals and assessments
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments and procedures
- Provide nursing care from intake through discharge
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines and treatments as directed
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy and sample collection
- Obtain high‑quality radiographs and maintain imaging standards
- Run in‑house laboratory tests: CBCs, chemistry panels, urinalysis, cytology and fecal testing
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures, maintaining accurate records
- Practice Fear‑Free and low‑stress handling techniques
- Educate clients on medications, discharge instructions, preventive care and treatment plans
- Maintain clean, stocked treatment and exam areas, following infection‑control protocols
- Collaborate with the team for efficient workflows and exceptional patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

- Previous experience as a veterinary technician or assistant
