Spring Harbor Animal Hospital is Hiring an Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician!
Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
Schedule: Flexible scheduling with a minimum 4-day work week.
Typical hours are 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. with one scheduled late shift until 7:00 p.m.
Typical technician schedules may include:
- Monday (or Friday): 7:50 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday (or Thursday): 7:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Typically, either Monday or Friday would be the scheduled day off.

What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate nursing care and technical support for patients
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
- Support surgical and dental procedures as directed by the veterinary team
- Monitor patients and assist with treatment plans
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Maintain accurate patient records and support hospital workflow
- Collaborate with teammates to provide excellent patient and client care
- Participate in team communication and monthly meetings
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Previous Veterinary Technician experience required
- Licensed Veterinary Technician credentials preferred
