Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to guide a veterinary team, ensuring exceptional client and pet experiences while supporting leadership in daily hospital operations.

You will oversee scheduling, client education, and adherence to care protocols, stepping in as Client Services Coordinator or Veterinary Assistant as needed. Commitment to Banfield Five Principles and high standards is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work at a computer for long periods.
• Comfort around pets (dogs/cats/reptiles) and ability to manage multiple tasks in a veterinary setting.
• Two years of veterinary hospital experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hospital team and ensure quality client service.
• Support Practice Manager and COS in maximizing productivity and profitability.
• Perform duties of Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant when needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and effective communication with clients and staff.
