Banfield Pet Hospitals in the United States is hiring for a Lead Paraprofessional role within our veterinary hospital team. The position blends leadership duties with paraprofessional responsibilities to maintain high patient flow and superior client care.

You will promote wellness services, educate clients on preventive care, assist with surgeries as applicable, and help manage daily hospital operations to support veterinarians and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or veterinary technician certification/licensure preferred.
• Two years experience in healthcare, veterinary or service industry preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and supervise paraprofessional staff.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospital services and ensure productive flow of clients and pets.
• Maximize pets seen and maintain high quality client service.
• Educate clients about wellness plans and preventive care.
• Assist with documentation, admissions, and invoicing.
