Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to help guide the team, support the Practice Manager and COS, and ensure outstanding client and patient experiences. The role also covers Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties as needed.

The Shift Lead will supervise daily operations, align with Banfield protocols, and foster a high‑performing, compassionate hospital culture focused on quality care for pets and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• You must have a minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Guide the team to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Assist the Practice Manager and COS in leadership and strategy.
• Perform Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties when needed.
• Ensure effective communication with clients, internal stakeholders, and colleagues.
• Supervise the team during shifts and support a positive work environment.
