Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals seeks a Shift Lead to provide leadership on site while performing paraprofessional duties as a veterinary assistant/technician. You will coordinate staff, ensure productivity, and communicate with Practice Manager and COS to support clients and associates.

The role blends clinical support with operational leadership across shifts, prioritizing patient care, clinic flow and adherence to Banfield standards. Strong teamwork and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years experience (healthcare, veterinary) required.
• Associate's degree or veterinary technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a CSC and/or veterinary assistant/technician.
• Recruit new clients and manage patient flow for productivity.
• Educate clients on Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Assist with surgery as applicable.
