Northside Veterinary Clinic, a full-service animal hospital in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, seeks a skilled Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and their pets. You will balance administrative precision with warmth across diverse interactions, supporting a compassionate clinic environment.

The role requires handling high-volume front desk operations, managing EMR data entry, and coordinating with veterinarians and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist is required.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software; Cornerstone, Avimark, ImproMed, eVetPractice, or ezyVet preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, vaccination protocols, and basic diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients, verify and update medical records, and confirm appointment details using practice management software.
• Answer and manage a multi-line telephone system, respond to inquiries about scheduling, refills, records, and hospital information.
• Process payments, post charges, explain invoices, and schedule follow-ups.
