Responsibilities include greeting clients, managing records and appointments, processing payments, and communicating medical information with empathy, even in sensitive situations. Prior front desk experience in a veterinary setting is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology, vaccines, and basic procedures.
• Strong scheduling, billing, and records management skills.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality customer service under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients, verify and update records, confirm appointments.
• Answer a multi‑line phone system and handle scheduling, refills, and inquiries.
• Process payments, post charges, explain invoices, and arrange follow ups.
• Communicate medical information compassionately, including end‑of‑life discussions.
• Maintain EMR and ensure timely data entry in PIMS.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Keep reception area clean and welcoming.
