Looking for a veterinary career that still leaves room for a life outside the hospital?
County Line Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our fantastic team. For more than 30 years, we’ve cared for pets and built lasting relationships with families throughout our community. Our clients are among the best, and our upbeat, supportive team always has each other's backs.
This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to contribute both at the front desk and alongside the medical team. One moment, you may be helping a client schedule an appointment or process a payment. The next, you may assist a veterinarian, support patient care, or help with pharmacy responsibilities.
If you’re looking for four-day workweeks, no nights or weekends, genuine mentorship, and a clinic culture where people appreciate one another, you may have just found your next home.
At County Line Animal Hospital, work-life balance is more than something we mention in a job ad. Our four-day workweeks, flexible scheduling, regular lunch breaks, and lack of nights, weekends, on-call shifts, or holiday hours are designed to give you time for the people and priorities outside the hospital.
You’ll also join a team that truly believes in growing together. If you’re working toward becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician, our experienced technicians are ready to mentor you, share their knowledge, and help you build the skills you still need. Tuition support is also available for qualifying programs.
We believe appreciation should be visible in the everyday experience. That means celebrating birthdays, new babies, anniversaries, and other milestones. It means occasional coffee runs, ice cream parties, meals on us, and a break room that stays stocked with drinks and snacks.
Most importantly, it means working with people who support one another, enjoy being together, and recognize that genuinely appreciating your teammates should be much more than a motivational poster on the wall.
Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are core values at County Line Animal Hospital and Vetcor. We are passionate about building and sustaining an inclusive and equitable working and learning environment for all employees. Every team member enriches our diversity by exposing us to different ways of understanding and engaging with the world. That’s why we’re committed to a workplace culture where employees are comfortable being their authentic selves, feel a complete sense of belonging, and are empowered to reach their full potential.
