Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Part-time (24–30 hours/week)
Salary: $17 - $23 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Rotating Saturday shifts; no nights or holidays

Veterinary Receptionist Duties

Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
Answer and route phone calls promptly and accurately
Schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow‑up visits
Maintain accurate client and patient records in the practice management software
Process payments and balance the cash drawer daily
Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow
Handle prescription refill requests and relay accurate information
Educate clients on preventive care, products, and services when appropriate
Assist in managing the lobby environment to keep it calm, clean, and organized
Support the team with general administrative and clerical tasks as needed
