Qualifications

• At least one year of veterinary hospital experience.
• Previous veterinary reception experience preferred.
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort using computers and veterinary practice-management software; IDEXX Cornerstone a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service.
• Schedule appointments and manage a multi-doctor calendar.
• Check clients and patients in and out with accurate information.
• Assist clients with questions regarding appointments, medications, and care.
• Identify urgent concerns and communicate with the medical team.
• Process credit card transactions and assist with daily balancing.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records.
• Support efficient flow between reception and medical teams.
