Job summary

The Pet Doctor, a Lakewood small-animal practice, is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist to be the first friendly face clients see and the voice they hear on the phone. You’ll help set the tone for every visit and support a busy front desk in a team-focused hospital.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a veterinary clinic (required).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented attitude and genuine compassion for animals and their people.
• Motivated, upbeat approach to client service.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
• Schedule appointments and manage a busy multi-line phone system.
• Process payments and keep client records accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate with veterinary technicians and doctors to keep the day running smoothly.
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Help create a positive, collaborative atmosphere throughout the hospital.
