Job summary

Northfield Veterinary Hospital in Denver is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our AAHA-accredited, four-doctor practice. You will welcome clients, manage schedules, and handle payments in a busy setting with a focus on exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
  • Provide exceptional client service in a busy veterinary environment.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and respond to client questions.
  • Schedule appointments and help maintain an efficient multi-doctor calendar.
  • Check clients and patients in and out while maintaining accurate information.
  • Process invoices and collect payments.
  • Communicate hospital services, policies, and next steps clearly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and assistants to support efficient patient flow.
  • Manage medical record requests, reminders, and other administrative tasks.
  • Handle client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Support teammates as needed to keep the hospital running smoothly.

We’re a four-doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal practice in Denver’s Northfield/Central Park neighborhood. Position Details

Role: Experienced Veterinary Receptionist

Status: Full-time

Salary: $20–$21 per hour

Schedule: Four-day workweek with one-hour lunch breaks; evenings and weekends off; no overnight or on-call shifts
