Mission Pet Health, supporting Ottawa Animal Hospital East in Holland, MI, seeks a Receptionist to be the face of our practice. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients warmly, coordinate appointments, and handle payments to keep the hospital running smoothly and compassionately.

We value a passion for animals, excellent communication, and strong organization. Some weekend/holiday shifts may be required, with benefits of a nationwide network and professional development

Qualifications

• Passion for providing excellent customer service and love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset and ability to work independently or with guidance.
• Experience with veterinary software preferred; flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, reflect our compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure optimal care.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients, treat each pet with care.
