Job summary

Roscoe Village Animal Hospital, part of Mission Pet Health, seeks a friendly receptionist to manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, and coordinate appointments in our AAHA-accredited Chicago clinic.

You will maintain medical records, handle payments, and support pet wellness discussions with clients. A caring, organized professional who loves animals is ideal, with some weekends/holidays required.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service mindset and animal-loving attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, able to manage stressful situations with good judgment.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with ability to work independently.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system and greet clients with a positive attitude.
• Maintain accurate medical records and manage appointment schedules.
• Handle financial transactions and ensure smooth hospital operations.
• Educate clients on preventative care and other services for pets.
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy, treating each pet like your own.
