Job summary

B Street Veterinary Hospital in San Diego, CA is seeking a friendly receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and patients. You will manage calls, greet clients, schedule appointments, process transactions, and maintain accurate medical records.

You will work in a high-volume practice under our Medical Director guidance, collaborate with the team, and help educate clients on preventive care. A flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused receptionist with a passion for animals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventive care and other hospital services to ensure optimal care.
