We are seeking a compassionate Veterinary Receptionist in San Diego, CA to be the friendly first contact for clients and their pets. You will manage check-ins, scheduling, and reception duties with a focus on providing a welcoming experience.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, handling calls and emails, maintaining patient records, processing payments, and coordinating care with veterinarians. Prior reception or customer service in a clinical setting is preferred.

• Communicate effectively with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to coordinate patient flow
• Educate clients on clinic services, products, and follow-up care instructions
• Manage front desk operations and maintain a clean, organized reception area

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service receptionist role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor
• Comfortable handling and being around animals of all types and sizes
• Proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the San Diego area
