Job summary

VCA Blairstown Animal Hospital in Blairstown, NJ is seeking a friendly Part-Time Client Service Representative to greet clients, answer phones, book appointments, and check clients in and out. You will explain fees, process payments, maintain a clean facility, and educate clients on our services and preventive care.

Evening shifts and rotating Saturdays apply; we offer competitive compensation and a benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Customer service functions, including greeting visitors, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and checking clients in and out.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times.
• Recommending and educating clients on all of the services and products offered that are available to each client.
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, vaccines, and flea & tick control).

Job description

VCA Blairstown Animal Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Client Service Representative who is friendly and has excellent communication skills to represent our hospital in the reception area. We are proudly an AAHA-Accredited hospital that has been serving the community for decades and we value our long-term relationships with our clients and their pets.

Part-Time hours include Monday-Friday with some evening hours and rotating Saturdays.

This position pays $18.00-$21.00 dependent on experience, education, certification, etc.
