River Valley Animal Hospital in Barling, AR is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to be the welcoming face of our hospital. You will create exceptional client experiences, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones, and support clients with information about our services.

The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented and organized, with 1+ year of customer service experience; prior veterinary front-desk work is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Proficiency in managing a multi-phone line system and assisting in-person clients
• Experience with veterinary practice management software, especially IDEXX Neopreferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional service during routine and emotionally sensitive situations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars
• Ability to process payments and maintain financial records

Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Barling, AR

River Valley Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $15-$16 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a part-time position, with a flexible hourlyschedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday, weekends on rotation.
