Job summary

CareVet in Springdale is seeking a friendly front-desk administrator to support patient flow, invoicing, and front-desk operations. You will greet clients, schedule appointments, process payments, and maintain accurate patient charts.

This role emphasizes customer service, organization, and teamwork in a busy veterinary setting, with revenue sharing and extensive benefits including medical, vision, dental, disability, 401k, PTO, and education support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with basic computer systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients, discharge patients, and invoice.
• Provide customer service: greet customers, answer questions, schedule appointments, process payments.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and record messages for doctors and staff.
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail and email; update patient charts.
• Enter data into computerized billing program; retrieve prescriptions.
• Assist with pet supply purchases and maintain waiting room cleanliness.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods; participate in retail sales.

Job Responsibilities:

• Checking patients in, discharging patients, invoicing
• Provide customer service such as greeting customers, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments
• Answer phone calls which may include answering questions, scheduling appointments and recording messages for doctors and staff

• Update and file patient charts
