National Veterinary Associates is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist in Las Vegas to deliver exceptional client experiences. You will greet clients, answer questions, process pet arrivals and payments, and schedule appointments, contributing to a smooth daily workflow.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to remain calm during emergencies or challenging situations, with a willingness to work weekends and evenings in a fast-paced animal-care setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or similar role.
• Ability to lift and restrain animals (up to 40 lbs. or more) required.

Key Responsibilities Veterinary Receptionist:

Provides excellent and expeditious client experience; greets clients, responds to questions; processes incoming and outgoing pets, and handles payments. Answers phone calls, which may involve answering questions, screening for service needs, and scheduling appointments. Handles incoming and outgoing mail and e-mail. Monitors client waiting area to ensure cleanliness. Documents and maintains client information, service data and other pertinent information within business operations software. Escalates complex matters to senior staff.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or similar role. 1 year preferred.


• Ability to lift and restrain animals (up to 40 lbs. or more)


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Willingness to work weekends and evenings


• Multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

Base hourly rate of $16.00-$18.00
