Millbrook Animal Care Clinic has an opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team!

Our Geneva animal hospital is full-service, providing standard medical care as well as boarding, grooming, diagnostics, surgeries, and more.

Location: 1881 S Randall, Geneva, IL 60134

Shift Details: Part-time (under 30 hours/week). Open Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm, Saturday 8am - 3pm, Sunday 8am - 1pm.

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00/hr depending on experience

Job Summary:

The Receptionist is the first and last contact clients have with the hospital, creating lasting impressions. Must have excellent client service, communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to handle payments and stressful situations. Will support staff in daily patient and client care.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and pets with a friendly attitude
• Answer phones professionally, handle inquiries, and route calls
• Schedule appointments and surgeries, confirm bookings
• Document client conversations accurately
• Process charges, explain invoices, and collect payments
• Verify client information and scan documents
• Assist with prescription refills and provide instructions
• Advise clients on retail products and preventative care
