Job summary

V.E.T. Care Hospital in Burleson, TX is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to make clients and their pets feel welcome. What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll play an important role in keeping our hospital organized and creating an excellent experience for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Greeting clients and their pets and helping them feel welcome

  • Answering phones and scheduling appointments

  • Checking patients in and out efficiently

  • Communicating estimates, payments, and financial information clearly and professionally

  • Maintaining accurate and organized client and patient records

  • Supporting the veterinarian and technician teams throughout the day

  • Educating clients about services, medications, preventive care, and follow-up recommendations

  • Helping keep the front desk organized and clinic flow running smoothly

Experience That Is Helpful

Previous experience in any of the following areas is a plus:



  • Veterinary reception or veterinary hospital experience

  • Customer service or medical reception

  • Cornerstone, PetDesk, or similar veterinary software

  • Basic veterinary terminology and preventive-care knowledge
