Job summary

Animal Dermatology Clinic - Billings is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling phones, appointments, and front-desk operations in a dermatology-focused practice.

We value a cheerful, energetic team player who can manage multiple tasks, process payments accurately, and maintain organized records. Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred, with a strong commitment to patient and client care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a public service or retail environment is preferred.
• Experience in a veterinary hospital or doctor’s office is required.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment and handle money accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide client service and reception in a veterinary dermatology setting.
• Answer phone calls and take accurate messages; book appointments.
• Maintain charts and computer records; assist with check-out and payments.
• Assist with pharmacy and retail sales as needed.
• Support marketing implementations and general clinic maintenance.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required; manage financial responsibilities.

Education And Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have experience working in the public (ie: restaurant, retail or service business)
• Experience in a veterinary hospital or doctor’s office is required
• Dependable attendance is required
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• The ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day
