Animal Dermatology Clinic - Mt Pleasant is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to join our dermatology-focused team. You will be the first contact for clients and their pets, handling appointments, phones, and front-desk duties with a warm, professional manner.

This role emphasizes exceptional client service, teamwork, accurate medical records, and comfortable handling pharmacy and retail transactions in a veterinary setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service or public-facing roles preferred.
• Experience in a veterinary hospital or doctor’s office is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide client services and front-desk support.
• Answer phone calls and take accurate messages; book appointments.
• Maintain charts and computer records.
• Assist with pharmacy and retail sales.
• Support marketing initiatives and daily clinic operations.

Requirements

Education and Physical Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have experience working in the public (ie: restaurant, retail or service business)
• Experience in a veterinary hospital or doctor’s office is required
• Dependable attendance is required
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• The ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day
