Job summary

Heartland Veterinary Partners LLC is seeking a Practice Manager for Cobb Veterinary Clinic in Midland, TX. You’ll lead daily operations, partnering with the Managing Doctor to ensure high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.

You will drive profitability, manage HR, marketing, strategic planning, and IT, while developing a high-performing team across multiple sites. Multi-site experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Full-time, on-site; weekend availability.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in related field a plus; Practice Manager Certification a plus.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds (with or without assistance).
• Knowledge of OSHA safety techniques.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office.
• Basic math and ability to calculate medications.
• Excellent communication and client service experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages practice financial performance and drives revenue growth.
• Controls expenses including pharmacy, supplies, labor, and facility.
• Manages inventory with balanced stock and sales.
• Works with MDVM on accurate pricing and budgeting.
• Creates and analyzes performance reports to improve results.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Oversees staffing, scheduling, and vendor relations.
• Partners with Heartland Marketing to align strategy and community outreach.
• Supports routine operations and ensures excellent client service.
