Job summary

Alliance Animal Health is opening Priority Pet Urgent Care in Knoxville, TN, and seeks a well-organized Practice Manager to lead pre-opening efforts. You’ll oversee practice design, vendor setup, staffing, training, and marketing activities to ensure a successful grand opening in October 2026.

In this role you will recruit and onboard staff, establish inventory controls, coordinate PMS setup, and align operations with our patient-first philosophy.

Qualifications

• CVPM certification preferred and/or 3+ years veterinary management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy pre-opening environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-opening activities: practice design, equipment ordering, PMS setup, vendor accounts, and marketing.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train staff to align with hospital culture.
• Manage inventory, payroll coordination, and policy implementation (DEA/OSHA).
• Coordinate with regional managers and doctors to ensure smooth operations.
