Priority Pet Urgent Care in Ankeny, IA is opening a state-of-the-art urgent care hospital. We seek an experienced Practice Manager to lead both people and business operations, partnering with the Veterinarian owner and regional leadership to build a financially healthy, high-performing team.

You will own staffing, budgeting, KPIs, client experience, and throughput while driving growth initiatives and maintaining exceptional service for clients and their pets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of veterinary practice management.
• CVPM or equivalent management certification preferred but not required.
• Strong business acumen with experience managing revenue, labor, and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital operations, staffing, budgeting, and KPIs.
• Build workflows to improve patient flow and client experience.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
• Partner with medical leadership on staffing strategy and performance.
• Oversee onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and accountability.
