Job summary

Destination Pet LLC is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the operations of two clinics. You will lead staff, manage customer service, payroll, and scheduling while ensuring compliance and safety across locations in Coronado and San Diego.

The role reports to the District Director and offers a $85,000–$95,000 salary with quarterly bonus opportunities, reflecting a full P&L leadership position in a pet care network.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in full P&L management responsibility preferably in hospitality, service and/or retail environments.
• Strong people management and motivational skills.
• Excellent oral presentation, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the mission, vision, culture and policies of Destination Pet.
• Ensures exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers and staff.
• Collaborate with Destination Pet support staff (Operations, HR, Marketing, Facilities, Legal).
• Oversees scheduling to balance service quality with budget.
• Manages payroll and ensures timely approvals.
• Ensures safety via training and compliance with labor laws.
• Prepares annual performance reviews and monitors guest safety.
