Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee hospital operations and lead the medical team. The role focuses on optimizing business performance while developing associates and delivering high-quality veterinary care in partnership with the chief of staff.

You will manage day-to-day operations, drive client and patient experience, and collaborate with field leadership, corporate teams, and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years related experience required (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.), including direct supervisory experience (includes hiring, associate development, etc.).
• Experience in a medical/veterinary setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educating associates on Banfield guidelines/practices.
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital.
• Supporting daily operations and staff.
• Scheduling associates, coordinating time off and managing continuing education needs.
