Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead day-to-day hospital operations and support the veterinary team. You will hire, develop and coach staff while focusing on delivering high-quality patient care and client service.

As part of a networked system, you’ll collaborate with medical leaders and corporate partners to optimize hospital and business growth, benefiting from education opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Three years related experience required, including direct supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in health care, veterinary or service industries is valued.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates, and evaluating hospital processes and productivity.
• Train associates to educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care and hospital services.
• Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices; budget and plan for the hospital.
• Schedule associates, coordinate time off and manage continuing education needs.
