The role requires strong leadership, organization, and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask while protecting the hospital’s philosophy and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in management or 3+ years veterinary experience preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary medicine terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital.
• Compassionate, calm, team player, multitasker and strong communicator.
• Highly organized and possess computer skills.
• Open availability with flexibility to change hours based on hospital’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all office administration procedures.
• Order, inventory management, scheduling coordination.
• Answer pet owners' questions regarding policies, appointments, and costs.
• Recruit/hire/onboard staff and manage salaries.
• Market the hospital to clients and the veterinary community.
• Maintain payroll and vendor relations.
• Establish inventory control and maintain supplies.
• Ensure compliance with DEA/OSHA and hospital policies.
