Southern Paws Animal Medical Center is seeking a courteous and efficient veterinary practice manager to coordinate and manage all office administration procedures.

You will oversee ordering, inventory, scheduling, staff training, and resolving conflicts to keep the practice operating smoothly. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for interacting with pet owners and veterinary staff.

Qualifications

• Experienced or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with 1+ year of management experience or 3+ years veterinary experience.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and hospital operations.
• Compassionate, calm, team player, multitasker and strong communicator.
• Highly organized with strong computer skills.
• Self-starter who continues to develop skills and knowledge.
• Open availability with flexible hours as hospital needs change.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all office administration procedures.
• Order and inventory management; schedule coordination; staff training; conflict resolution.
• Answer pet owners' questions on policies, appointments, and costs.
• Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the team.
• Develop staff, overview performance, and handle staff hiring and onboarding.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors; ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Manage patient records, appointments, and treatment documentation.
