Heartland Veterinary Partners is seeking a Practice Manager for Suburban Animal Clinic in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on overseeing daily operations, financial performance, HR, and client service to ensure high-quality patient care and a superior client experience.

You will lead a team, manage budgets, coordinate with MDVM, and implement strategic initiatives to grow the practice while upholding Heartland standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate degree in applied science, veterinary technology, or business is a plus.
• Practice Manager Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages practice financial performance, engaging teams to drive revenue growth.
• Manages practice expenses including pharmacy, supplies, labor, and facility.
• Ensures appropriate inventory management with a balance of regular stock and sales.
• Collaborates with MDVM to ensure accurate pricing and budgeting.
• Creates or analyzes performance reports and generates insights to improve performance.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and maintains a safe, compliant environment.
• Leads staff scheduling and ensures patient appointments meet client and team needs.
• Partners with Heartland Recruiting to fill open requisitions and maintain staffing levels.
