Job summary

Eagle Vet Hospital in San Antonio seeks a Practice Manager who loves building strong teams, creating a great culture, and keeping a busy veterinary practice running at its best. As the leader, you will supervise staff, manage schedules, oversee budgeting and billing, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive client satisfaction while supporting growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or other relevant areas preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all practice staff, including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and support staff.
• Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Develop and optimize staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage within labor budgets.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and champion new initiatives.
• Oversee daily operations, budgeting, billing and expense management; monitor financial reports.
• Lead client relations to deliver exceptional service and address inquiries promptly.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulatory agencies and workplace safety requirements.
• Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and office supplies.
• Drive marketing, community outreach, and business development efforts.
