Banfield Pet Hospital in San Antonio is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee day‑to‑day hospital operations and lead a team of veterinary professionals. You will drive business results, develop associates, and ensure exceptional client and patient experiences across the hospital.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with medical staff, corporate partners and field leadership to support growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years related experience required (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.), including direct supervisory experience (includes hiring, associate development, etc.).
• Experience leading a team and managing hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates, to evaluating the hospital's processes, progress and productivity.
• Educating clients about our Optimum Wellness Plans®, preventive care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital.
• Scheduling associates, coordinating time off and managing continuing education needs.
