Position

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Practice Manager to join our team at Petcare Hospital & Wellness Center in Mill Creek, WA.

As Practice Manager, you will lead the hospital staff, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, excellent client service, and a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the veterinary hospital, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining adequate stock levels of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and veterinary team to optimize patient care and workflow.
  • Hire, train, and mentor staff members, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members, stepping in to assist whenever necessary.
  • Motivate staff and help build and maintain morale.
  • Utilize feedback from clients, staff, and management to identify areas of improvement and implement appropriate changes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to hospital operations, finances, and inventory management.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement to ensure the practice’s success and achieve the vision.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to veterinary medicine and practice management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, CVMP, or a related field (preferred).
  • Three years of supervisory experience required.
  • Three years or more of managing a veterinary practice required.
  • Demonstrated empathy toward clients and respect for animals.
  • Familiarity with inventory management procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and commitment to team development and mentorship.
  • Capable of leading, managing, and coaching staff at all levels.

Compensation
