Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital- Rye Brook is hiring a full-time Veterinary Practice Manager (Animal Hospital Manager) in Rye Brook, NY. You will lead veterinarians, technicians and support staff, partnering with hospital leadership to develop and implement growth and operational strategies.

The role requires at least 2+ years of veterinary hospital management, strong leadership, systems expertise (PIMS, Microsoft Office, Teams), and a commitment to exceptional client service.

Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital- Rye Brook is Hiring a Full-Time Veterinary Practice Manager (Animal Hospital Manager) - Rye Brook , NY

What to Expect

As you join our mission, expect to provide leadership and structure to our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, and to work directly with hospital leadership dedicated to supporting development of your management and leadership skillset.

With a solid understanding of the veterinary industry, and prior experience overseeing hospital operations, you'll be responsible for leading with clarity, managing multiple priorities, and contributing directly to the ongoing excellence of the hospital and the well-being of the animals we care for.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:
$80,000 - $90,000 per year, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Eligibility for up to 15% performance-based annual bonus.

Schedule:
Full time, salaried position (approx. 40-50 hours per week). Typical schedule 4 days a week 8am-6pm, with occasional early or after-hours meetings and Saturdays.

This is a sister hospital to our founding location in Rye. You will work closely with the Practice manager at this location to support the hospitals together.
• 2+ years of management experience in a veterinary hospital, animal hospital, or medical practice setting preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on hospital growth initiatives, including:
• Maintaining team focus on client growth and retention activities (e.g., health reminder outreach, forward booking, rescheduling canceled appointments, Google reviews and online reputation)
• Collaborate with Marketing Lead and Marketing partner to drive successful Marketing campaigns
• Client service – ensure practice is offering premium, white glove experience to all clients.
• Manage hospital operations in collaboration with Partner Doctors, Medical Director, and Operations Director.
• Scope includes personnel management (e.g., hiring, training, development, performance mgmt. and resolution of staff conflicts), scheduling, inventory management and administrative duties required to run practice.
• Guide and coach team members toward continuous improvement, maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.
• Demonstrate initiative in balancing the needs of both the business and the staff.
