Job summary

CityVet Alamo Heights is seeking a Practice Manager to lead the clinic's operations, staff management, and overall customer experience. The PM will oversee business and financial management as well as clinical operations, ensuring adherence to CityVet policies and standards.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of veterinary clinic regulations, and a track record in managing teams and operations to deliver exceptional client care.

Qualifications

• Understanding of state and federal safety standards.
• Knowledge of regulations governing veterinary clinics.
• Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable, but not required.
• High school diploma/GED + 3 years relevant experience or bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, onboard, train, and supervise facility staff members to ensure their understanding of the job responsibilities and career path opportunities outlined by their role, resulting in a successful and contributing team member.
• Continuous staff development through professional and clinical training, timely performance and salary reviews, and completing disciplinary actions, up to and including termination, to ensure the individual and collective success of the facility as outlined in the CityVet brand standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain quality control of all daily operations, client care, client service, and client records.
