Job summary

CityVet Grand Prairie is seeking a Practice Manager to lead our busy veterinary facility, overseeing business and clinical operations, customer experience, and staff performance.

You will implement CityVet policies, manage scheduling, training, and compliance with safety standards. A valid diploma or degree and 3 years' relevant experience preferred; Certified Veterinary Practice Manager desirable.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications: Understanding of state and federal safety standards.
• Knowledge of regulations governing veterinary clinics.
• Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable, but not required.
• High school diploma/GED + 3 years relevant experience or bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, onboard, train, and supervise facility staff to ensure understanding of job responsibilities and career path opportunities.
• Continuous staff development through professional and clinical training, performance and salary reviews, and disciplinary actions up to termination.
• Monitor and maintain quality control of daily operations, client care, and client records.
